NOW PLAYING | B.o.B AND NICKI MINAJ GO “OUT OF MY MIND”

“Out Of My Mind” - B.o.B feat. Nicki Minaj

It’s already sounding like B.o.B’s upcoming album “Strange Clouds” is going to be HOT! He recruits rap-mistress Nicki Minaj to add her signature sound to this track, and together, they sound GREAT together!

“Strange Clouds” drops in full next week, and as a HUGE B.o.B fan, I really just can’t wait!

NOW PLAYING: BRITNEY SPEARS MAKES 2012 DEBUT WITH THE BIEBS

“Boyfriend” - Justin Bieber feat. Britney Spears

The Princess of Pop and the sensation that is Mr. Justin Bieber have finally teamed-up and released a track, “Boyfriend”, that is strangely contagious! I normally wouldn’t give either Justin Bieber or Britney Spears any musical credit or time-of-day, but this song is too unique not to recognize.

Like Britney says (or whispers/sings) “it’s like that.”

ROBIN THICKE PAYS TRIBUTE TO WHITNEY HOUSTON IN SONG

“Exhale (Shoop Shoop)” - Robin Thicke

Soon after the unexpected death of musical legend Whitney Houston, R&B superstar Robin Thicke put his own spin on one of her most famous hits. “Exhale (Shoop Shoop” - produced by Babyface - was originally recorded by Houston in 1995 and included on the soundtrack for the movie “Waiting to Exhale”. The song proved Whitney’s star power was still very strong, as the song spent 11 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at number 2 before it finally peaked at number one.

Thicke slows down the tempo on his version of Houston’s song and it sounds fantastic. He quietly whispers “thank you” at the end of the song and one can only infer he’s speaking to a small, silent crowd. I say, “No, thank you Robin!”

But all the thanks belong to Whitney Houston for the voice she had and the person, mother, and friend she was. The choir in Heaven just got a whole lot better. Rest in peace, Whitney—gone too soon, but never forgotten.

THE NBA ALL-STAR GAME NEEDED NICKI MINAJ! AND SHE DELIVERED. DUH.

The Harijuku Barbie is EVERYWHERE lately and I don’t mind one bit! “Super Bass” never gets old when she performs it and I particularly liked her performance of one of her newest singles, “Starships”.  I can’t WAIT for the release of her sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, to drop on April 3!

Nicki—I’m really feelin’ your swag lately. Always have, always will.
